Renew
Pool remodeling for tired Suffolk County pools, from liner and coping to new decking
When the liner has faded, the coping has loosened or the decking has given up, a remodel gives the pool a new edge and a new surround without building from scratch.
Chapter 01
What wears out first around a pool
Pools age at the edges before they age in the middle. The liner fades, stretches or shows seams. Coping stones work loose or crack along the lip. Waterline tile loses its finish and starts to chip. The decking around the pool heaves, stains or settles until walking barefoot becomes something you watch your step over.
None of this means the pool itself is finished. Most of the time the shell is sound and the surround is what has had its day. A free inspection tells you which parts are worth renewing now and which can wait another season. Call (631) 599-4175 and we will come out anywhere in Suffolk County to look.

New liner, coping and tile, then water features and decking
On a vinyl pool the job starts with draining and removing the old liner, checking the walls and floor underneath, and fitting the new liner so it sits flat and tight. On a gunite pool the surface and waterline are renewed instead. Either way the coping is reset or replaced and fresh tile goes in along the water.
A remodel is also the moment to add a water feature, such as a waterfall or a spillway from a raised spa, since the edge is already open. Last comes the decking: the old surround is lifted and replaced in stone, wood or a material that suits the house, so the finished pool reads as one clean, dead-level line.
Chapter 03
Planning the work before the season and keeping it right after
The best time to start a remodel is well before you want to swim. Booking the free inspection two days ahead gets the plan on paper early, so materials can be chosen and the work scheduled while the weather helps. Ask about HFS Home Improvement Loans if you would rather finance the project than pay all at once.
A new finish stays new longer with regular care. Our pool maintenance covers weekly cleaning, water chemistry, filters and water levels, and if anything small shows up later, pool repair is the same crew. Licensed and insured, License: #L006306, with more than 20 years behind the work.
