Build
Pool construction for Suffolk County yards, from the drawing to the first full fill
New swimming pools and jacuzzis, designed around your property and built by a crew that has been constructing pools and spas for over two decades.
Chapter 01
The design and the layout settle every cost before a shovel moves
A new pool starts on paper and on the ground at the same time. Where the water sits in the yard, how far it is from the house, which way the lawn falls and where the equipment will live all get decided before any digging. A custom design is the part of the job that is cheapest to change, so it gets the most attention.
Free estimates are booked as an inspection, and the visit is the first look at the lot itself: the slope, the access for machines, the trees, the distance to the water table on a lot near the bay. Schedule it two days ahead by calling (631) 599-4175, and the layout conversation starts from what was actually seen in your yard.

New pool shell formed on a waterfront lot, the bay beyond the dig
Excavation, steel and the shell: gunite sprayed over rebar or a vinyl liner kit
Once the shape is marked out, the excavation goes in and the rough form of the pool appears in the ground. For a gunite pool, a cage of steel rebar is tied to the shape of the shell and the concrete mix is sprayed over it, then hand-shaped into steps, benches and a smooth floor. That shell is what the pool will be for decades.
A vinyl pool takes a different route: a wall and floor kit goes in, the base is prepared and a liner is fitted to the finished shape. Both are offered, and both are built by the same crew. Plumbing lines, drains, returns and the equipment pad go in around the shell while it is still open and easy to reach.
Chapter 03
Coping, decking, startup and the handover to weekly care
With the shell done, the edge goes on. Coping caps the wall, waterline tile is set, and the decking or stone terrace around the water is laid so the pool sits in the yard rather than in a hole. This is the visible line every other part of the property gets read from, and it is worth taking time over.
Then the pool is filled, the equipment is started and the water is balanced for the first swim. A new pool does not have to be left to look after itself: the crew also handles weekly care through pool maintenance, and a finished shell can later be renewed through pool remodeling. Questions about the build itself go straight to (631) 599-4175.
